- What does Amordad do?
- Amordad builds research tools that combine knowledge graphs, full-text literature and controlled AI agents. Its first product, Cognigraph, serves biomedical research.
- What is a controlled AI agent?
- A controlled AI agent follows a written plan, uses a short, fixed list of tools, and may cite only evidence the system collected. It cannot browse the web.
- What is Cognigraph?
- Cognigraph is an evidence-first research assistant for biomedicine. It answers questions about genes, diseases, drugs and tissues with named identifiers and numbered citations that open their source.
- Which data does Cognigraph use?
- The ROBOKOP knowledge graph 1.0.2, with 137.5 million edges from 53 sources, and the PubMed Central open-access subset, with 3.6 million full-text papers. Counts are as of October 2026.
- How does Cognigraph handle references?
- The server collects the evidence and numbers each item. The AI may only cite those numbers. A citation with nothing behind it shows as broken, never hidden.
- What happens when no evidence is found?
- The answer says so. Nothing found, search failed and not searched are three different results, and Cognigraph shows which one happened.
- Is Cognigraph for clinical use?
- No. Cognigraph is for research use, not clinical decisions. It is not a medical device, and it declines questions about a specific patient.
- What are the known limits?
- Only open-access papers are searched. Some names are ambiguous, and the agent says which meaning it chose. Very large result sets can be cut. The wording of an answer can vary between runs.
- What is Target Investigator?
- Target Investigator is a guided workflow inside Cognigraph for drug-target questions. It is in testing now and is not yet available.
- How do I get access?
- Request research access with the form on this page. We start with non-commercial research access, and we review each request.
